Privacy policy
Last updated: October 2026
In brief
This website sets no cookies, uses no analytics or advertising services and loads no content from third-party servers. We receive personal data only when you write to us — through the enquiry form or by email.
Controller
The controller for the processing of personal data on this website is liquitec AG, Industrie Neuhof 54, CH-3422 Kirchberg BE, Switzerland. Please send questions about data protection to info@liquitec.ch.
Visiting the website
When you call up a page, your browser transmits technically necessary information to the server hosting the website: IP address, date and time, the address requested, the previously visited page, and browser and operating system. The server operator stores this information in log files in order to deliver the website and detect misuse. We do not analyse it in relation to you and do not combine it with other data.
The website is transmitted encrypted (HTTPS). Fonts and images are served from the same server; no content is loaded from third parties.
Enquiry form and email
If you use the enquiry form or write to us, we process your details — name, company, email address, your message and, if provided, phone number, country and product area — in order to answer your enquiry and prepare a quotation. For this purpose the form also transmits the address of the page from which you wrote.
Your details reach our email inbox and may be recorded in our customer relationship system. We do not pass them on for advertising purposes and do not sell them.
Legal basis
We process personal data in accordance with the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP). Where the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) applies, we rely on taking pre-contractual steps at your request (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and on our legitimate interest in operating the website securely and in answering enquiries (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Recipients and transfer abroad
Your details can be accessed by the employees who handle your enquiry. Where necessary for the answer, for example for enquiries from abroad, we forward them to companies of our group or to our representative in your country. We also use service providers for hosting, email and IT who process data on our behalf.
Where recipients are located outside Switzerland, we ensure that adequate data protection exists there or is secured by contract, for example through the standard contractual clauses of the European Commission.
Retention
We keep enquiries for as long as necessary to handle them and for a possible business relationship. If an order results, the statutory retention periods apply, in Switzerland generally ten years for business records.
Your rights
You may request information about the personal data we process about you, have it corrected or deleted, object to its processing and request that your data be handed over to you. To do so, write to info@liquitec.ch. Statutory retention obligations remain reserved.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority — in Switzerland with the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC), in the EU with the supervisory authority of your country.
Changes
We update this policy when the website or the legal situation changes. The version published here applies.
